Water

Water plays an important role in landscape and nature photography. A waterfall in motion, rolling waves along the sea, the quiet flow of a river, or the stillness of a lake reflection can define a scene just as much as the landscape around it. It’s a motif that keeps coming up in my photographs across Germany and Europe. What makes it even more interesting is that water rarely looks the same twice, particularly when photographing waterfalls and waves. Getting the movement just right is as challenging as it is fun when capturing water in landscape photography.
